We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist to join our team.
As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for flowers and design to showcase their talent and contribute to making special moments memorable.
Duties:
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events - Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements based on their preferences and budget - Operate cash register and process payments accurately - Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock is fresh and well-maintained - Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to customer needs and offering appropriate suggestions - Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh flowers and other floral supplies - Assist with general shop maintenance including cleaning work areas, organizing displays, and watering plants - Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Experience:
- Previous experience in floral design or related field is preferred but not required - Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements - Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online orders is a plus - Multilingual skills are an asset for serving diverse clientele - Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance is beneficial Skills:
- Strong artistic ability in floral design and arrangement - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Sales-oriented mindset to promote products and upsell when appropriate - Attention to detail in order to create visually appealing arrangements - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards We offer competitive pay based on experience.
