Farmer looking for a farm. for sale in Riverton, UT

Do you have a farm you love but you're getting too old to farm it? Do you have kids you'd love to give your farm to... but they'd just as soon turn your farm into condos and sell 'em off? Do you have a farm but you also have a nice life in the city, and you can't be bothered with taking care of the farm? Maybe you and I should talk. I've got a few good years left. And I've got a love of farming. I grew up on a 700-acre farm in Virginia. Some folks think farmers are dumb. And the "necktie guys" were oh so smart. I know better. Necktie guys know how to fill out paperwork. But farmers have to know everything... weather, soil composition, animal mating habits, companion planting, timing, negotiation, marketing, production costs, mechanics, insects, profits, worms, seasons, compost, microbes, mechanics, building. And more. Farming is all about DELAYED GRATIFICATION. City folks tend to want INSTANT GRATIFICATION. Sorry to ramble... here's my point: If you have a farm or a ranch and you want a farmer to take an interest in it... we should talk. If I take it over, my main goal will be to renew the health of the soil. Not with chemicals but with nature... like animal poop, animal disturbance, ground litter (straw, wood chips, mulch). Depending on the situation, I could use livestock as the means of renewing the life and health of the soil, or I could (on a smaller scale) use plant life to do most of the renewal work. Feel free to call me most any time to explore some ideas. With "no-till" methods, it's possible to turn an unprofitable farm, into a profitable one, and heal the land in the process. Let's talk soon.
